l just brought this 106 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=200045482437&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=010 and as you can see it is very low and with very large 18'' wheels the only problem is it hits the wheel arches when going over any bump (motorway or suburb) seriesously bad over speed bumps.
does anyone know how much ruffly it going to cost to higher it back to normal orignal state of a 106 quiksilver or somthing good as so it dont hit the arches??
i brought it from wales and drove it back to Brighton engine seems ok sounds nice few lil minor cosmetic probs but nothing serious yet. cant take it back cuz brought private and l love the car l thinks all it needs is abit of tlc. does anyone know any good reasonable garages where l can fix it nearish to brighton area?
thank you cant get smaller wheels without highering it. smaller wheels will lower it even more. is that not right? the pics in the bottom of the pics where how it was b4. there is nothing in the boot all the inside has been put back to normal quiksilver state. its not the back that is the problem its the front 2 wheels mainly the drivers side is the worst for grinding back may need rising with the front cuz it will look stupid other wise.

Not trying to be funny but you could take some of those speakers out of the boot or get a set of standard springs for a 106 from a scrapyard and fit those or have the arch is rolled.
PS you say its rubbing worst on the front drivers side have you checked the wheel alignment suspension etc if its been heavily kerbed it could have knocked the tracking out or bent the suspension components

it will rub worst at front drivers side as you in that side of the car and the weight of the engine at front to. as for cost to hire it (guessing you dont want to go back to standard hight buying a car like that) speak to some garages out of max power for cost may just need slightly bigger springs (ebay the old ones that come off and off set it against the price of new ones)

l recken the cheapest way is to buy new springs for the front, because these originals are just smaller spax and get a complete rear axle assy from a breakers yard for £50 unless you know how to adjust the rear torsion bars back up(which is quite a job in itself, then get some wheels
