Just get a new seal for it.

If you can get through all the pointless and ridiculous then perhaps you should try fitting new seals. The existing seals will have shrunk and gone hard over time, and will no longer provide adequate weather protection. This is a known problem on 106s, and my daughter-in-law is 106 has just had new seals to cure a leak.

Two other answerers have identified the likely problem - the seals - & proposed two solutions - vaseline or new seals.

The rubber seals have likely gone hard by losing their natural oils over time. Sometimes this can be cured by 'softening' the seals with vaseline, but if the seal is too perished a new seal is the only solution. Try rubbing vaseline into the rubber seals, as a tub of vaseline is likely to be cheaper than a new seal. If that fails, unfortunately u will need a new seal.

l have worked for peugeot for 13 years and l think that the water is more than likely to be comming through the sunroof plastics that touch the outside of the roof

remove the inner grey seal(or black) and you will find app 30 twenty torx screws in there
remove them all and take the roof out
clean the both surfaces and apply some black sealer(local auto store £2.50 app)
rebuild and stand overnight

try that hope it helps
