How much would it cost to tax this car for both 6 months and 1 year please under the next crappy tax laws this country has? Sorry but l cant find it on the net and l cant be bothered to ring the DVLA!

That depends on when it was registered. And its co2 emissions (which u can find on the V5 document).
Assuming its a nearly new car:
The emissions will be over 185 which means it will cost £190 for twelve mths or £104.50 for six. If the cars c02 is higher than 225 & it was registered on or after 23rd March 2006 then it will be £210 for a yr or £115 for six mths. If it was registered before that date then it will be the same as the first figures l have given.
