Inflate the tyres, usually there are 2 types of PSi settings- one for normal driving and one for driving over 100 mph. This may give you a marginal advantage and better handaling higher speeds, but check your handbook to see specific pressures.

Install an aftermarket chip/reprogram the computer. Larger diameter tires will also increase top speed, but also reduce acceleration.

1. Small car with a lot to prove???
2. 70mph is the legal limit, you wont be driving long at 120+.
3. There is no substitute for more cc is if you need speed.
4. Think about how you are going to stop it before you spend more.
