l was driving to work this morning and an orange light came on in my dashboard. it hasnt come on before and when l looked at the manual to see what it meant it said ''engine self check'' or something like that.
that doesnt make sense to me at all. the only way l can describe the light that came on is that it was orange and looked like an engine with a ''k'' shape in the middle.
can anyone help me as to what this means please.

Its your engine managment light. One of the sensors has picked up an error, now it could be a temporary matter and re set, or its picked up a possible future fault. This could be a knock sensor, Lambda (o2) sensor faulty or picking up an error. If it persists you will need to send it to a garage to get the fault code read. good luck!
