peugeot 306 HDI cam belt change

hi there, l am wondering about having a go at changing the cam belt on my 2000, 306 2.0 hdi.. l have changed cam belts on my citroen bx 1.9 diesel, with success, and wondered if anyone has done a HDI, and were there any problems when changing the cam belt, any special tools needed,and yes l shall be changing the water pump and using the ''kit'' for all else, much appreiciated if anyone ..

they ars simaler to the 1.9 diesel but make sure you have the timing pins as l think these have a verner (adjustable) cam.

It is just like doing a the timing belt on ur other one u did but with one difference u do not need to peg the injection pump. As this does not have any holes to peg with. Because it is only there to pressurise the injection rail.
To make life just a bit easier when doing these undo the brake master cylinder from the servo still keeping the brake pipes connected .Unclasp the pipes from the bulkhead then pull it away from the servo gently & rest it on top of the lip at the top of the bulkhead.
