l work for peugeot & l will tell u that the engines r great very little goes wrong.
road holding is excelent & if u go for the diesel u get super fuel economy
lots of people r using them for taxis as they r so reliable
only problem they seem to have is bottom ball joints r very weak & they go in about 8000-9000 miles
they r under warranty but wait till u see it will be on watchdog soon

Reliability = crap, insurance = ?, mileage = no one knows because Peugeots do not run long enough to determine.

l would say they are reliable cars, but the automatic transmission is not very pleasant. l recommend manual greabox.
Beside it is a great design. Choose the 2.2 liters engine, the HDi Diesel is a good engine too.
