Peugeot 206 Gti W Reg 2000.
l need to replace the a/c heater blower or repair it (maybe dry solder joint).

It will only blow when l toggle the plug leading into the outside casing. l have tightened the connections on the plug and the problem is still the same, which leads me to the fact there is a loose connection inside the fan motor.

l have removed the glove box but l dont have any idea on how to remove/replace the fan motor.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Over 30 years in the auto business & l have never seen a Peugeot. l guess l do not get out much. However l do know how to repair it. Take it to a competent mechanic. You r trying to DIY (do it yourself) & it sounds like you're about to make a real mess of it. If u can not seem to see how to remove it, obviously u do not have the knowledge. If u insist on doing it, purchase a copy of the original factory service manual. Not owners manual, rather the $80 - $150 service manual. Then have ur fun.

its been a while since l have had to remove one for an 206 never mind a gti
if l remember when u have the glovebox out u need to turn the fan...if l am right anti clockwise & it will come out

in glasgow u can get them from an company called auto equip peicies 01416470800 ask for alex & have ur chassis number ready .around 70-120quid hope this helps

grab the back and turn 1/3rd of a turn clockwise
they can be quite tight also some people put a screw in it to stop it turning l have seen it before.
