i have a peugeot 406 rapier 2003 reg it is making a whistling sound

l have a peugeot 406 rapier 2003 reg l have noticed a whistling sound it gets very noticable when l go above 50mph it is there at lower speed but only just hear it. can or does anyone have any idea what this might be .

You either have a vaccuum leak or the idle controll motor is stuck open.

Do you have a sunroof? Do you have a radio antenna that hangs above the sunroof? Have you raised the antenna so that it is pointed straight up toward the sky?
Yes yes yes?
Try lowering the antenna, so it is nearer to the sunroof. Drive fast. No whistling sound?
