The roof is leaking, has anyone had the same problem? l wanna know the prices to sort it out.
Thanks in advance!
The leak is coming from the clip that you pull down on drivers side only.
It is soaking my seat everytime it rains, so l stuffed tissues in the gap, but it came through that too!
l have now shoved a shammy cloth into it which has helped keep it out!
This is a convertable car, so obviously does not have a sunroof! The clip are the two clips either side at the front which you have to unclip before pressing the button to take the roof down.

how bads the leak, how old is car best thing to do open roof check for debrie or damage around seals (joins and hinges) if not damage apply finger full of vaseline around rims and hinges work in by opening and closing roof a number of times to work in also have engine running when you close roof to ensure proper closing

Do u mean sunroof? Or the big roof? And what is the ''clip that u pull down?''

AHHH maybe by ''clip'' u mean the handle of the sunroof? l have found that if u close the handle 3/4 of the way, & not completely, that the sunroof shuts tighter. The problem is caused by the pivot hinge. It gets weaker as the years go by. Closing the handle completely allows the glass to rise AGAIN by 1/16 inch.

On my car, l only close the ''handle'' until it is vertical. No rain can pass the rubber seal. No need to use a chamois cloth or extra rubber seals. Even with a NEW rubber seal, the glass will not close properly due to the OLD handle pivot hinge.

the catch may require adjusting tighter, as the seals become more used they compress more so an adjustment occasionally is not unusual. Or failing that you may require a new roof seal that runs along the top edge.

All French cars leak, in all places, suffer it or sell it.
