the pump, much more than a 10min job,

filter is much quicker though.

i would suggest if you not mechanically minded then the filter is the limit point and get a mechanic in.

not as easy as it is on a lot of other cars.. Peugeot is are notoriously difficult to work on at home.. all the parts seem to be in the way of whatever u are trying to reach. have a look at it before u start.. do u have a Haynes manual ? that would help.

l dont think there is an oil pump on any vehicle that is a 10 minute job and in my experience the smaller the vehicle the harder things are to work on .. better block out a day for this one just to be on the safe side ;)

No it is defiantly not a ten minute job. The oil pump is buried inside the sump of the engine & requires either the sub frame removed or the engine pulled out. Why do u want to change it? If the oil pressure warning light is coming on u need to identify were the problem is, first thing to check is the oil level, then the condition of the oil filter. If both r OK & there is still an oil pressure problem the most common reason for this is that the main bearings have damage resulting in the clearances increasing. Unfortunately this is a major engine re-build & it may be more effective to buy a re-con engine.

right under the exaught exit there is a vaulve see if the eectronic rod as come off if not unscrew that and get a new one that is the only thing that is damaged, u dont need to change the hole pump.
