l have a Peugeot 307SW and a message has come up on my dashboard saying ''Unblock Diesel Filter''.
Does anyone know where this filter is located, what it looks like and if l am able to do the job myself (I am reasonably competent with car repairs). I am loathe to go the Peugeot dealers as l always feel ripped off. If it requires special tools then l will probably have no alternative.

Hi this job does not require special tools and the job is relatively easy.the disel filteris inline between the fuel in and the injectors usually on the front of the engine. l have a 306

hi its an easy job did mine its underneath the plastic engine cover with two pipes going into it undo the quick release pipes with a small screwdriver unscrew the top of the filter take out old filter and replace, refit in reverse order
half hour at most
