the car was working ok before today, the indicator shows 17000miles to next service. but today when l open the door the dashboard lights came on without key in ignition, the STOP signal was flashing. on further investigation, l realised that the radio and the dashboard was not indicating when l traficate and when l put on the hazards, but the lights are showing outside. the STOP flash stopped when l start the engine but both radio and dashboard lights for the indicators were not working, but work outside. i've checked the manufacture handbook but the fuss box was different from the one illustrated. please help.

l am totally guessing the answer to this one. l hope l am wrong.
l think rain water has accumulated under the bonnet, in a little closed area under the windscreen. Normally water drains out of this ''bucket but ur drain hole has been clogged with dust, tree leaves, seeds, over the years. Search for the drain at the extreme outside edge of the ''bucket'' = water collecting area.
Now water has found its way through a higher hole into the dash area above the fuse box. Causing short circuits.

Look today for 1'' of rain water, & find the drain hole.
l hope l am wrong.
