does anyone know how to take off engine cover ?and put back on!
also my oil filler cap disapeared how can this happen??

Scrap it its rubbish, get yourself a decent car like a VW or an Audi.

put it back on the way u got it off and some1s probably robbed ur oil filter

hi if its same as 307 the four caps holding it on rotate it is just a case of getting the gaps to line up ,the caps have two tiny bars across and these have to line up with the cutouts in the studs to lock to undo you have to slowly turn them till the stud opens the bars up to allow you to pull them off quite tricky l keep dropping mine down inside engine compartment

it should just screw off.. thats a big old engine for that car..but nice one for getting a diesel :) if that doesnt help try google..

depending on the reg of ur car. for the newer peugeot the engine cover r electromagnetic, l will advice u not to remove it yourself because if u get it wrong ur car may not start-up afterwards. u may also need power-tools to remove some bolt, also some bolt could be rusty & messing around with them might be more expensive than u may imagine. the best-way to take off the engine cover is to take the car to a garage, electrical faults r common in peugeots generally, l drive a 406 & l will not risk removing the engine cover by myself.
