How many miles will a 1.1 peugot 206 do when the red warning light comes on

A rough guess would be 400 with a full tank of petrol.

check your manual it should tell you

About 30. depending on the sort of driving you are doing. Do not push it though, my Peugeot 206 is 7 years old and the fuel gauge has a mind of it is own.

Are we talking low petrol warning light, Oil Light, or charge light
Petrol light, maybe 50 miles
Oil light about 1/2 mile
Charge light, till the Battery runs flat

funny thats what the pilot of the plane asked the passengers on my last trip abroad... why should you do that .it only brings up the dirt from the tank and causes problems later on

25 miles - tops. Get to the gas station immediatly. You know when your car runs out of petrol it puts a massive strain on the engine. Without fuel in the pistons the engine runs lean which causes something called detonation. Never let your car run out of fuel if ou can help it. On older cars it can be fatal.

l had a car once that l was teaching to run without petrol
but it kept stopping.

Which warning light?

Think we're getting confused here. A RED light is not the fuel level warning - that one is orange. A red light is a warning of something seriously wrong & it depends which one it is.

If u do mean the little orange fuel light, do not gamble on how much fuel u have left. Those things r notoriously inaccurate and, as well, u do not want to run the tank too low as all sorts of crud can be dragged into the fuel system. As soon as it appears, then is the time to start looking for more fuel.

Better measure than in feet..

It depends how u drive, & what sort of driving conditions (speed, traffic, etc.) u r in at the time.
Fuel lights usually indicate approx 5 litres left.
If u do not know ur normal fuel consumption, work it out, then u can work out how far u can go on 5 litres. However do not push it - u may be in less economical conditions than normal, & the gauge & light r not that accurate - plan to fill up in less than half the distance u would normally get from 5 litres just to be safe.
