Put the key in the lock and turn it.

Short of using the key there is nothing much left to say, put the key in the lock, turn and press the lock into the boot lid. If this does not work there may be something wrong with the lock.

Please tell me you DON'T drive!!

do you have a lever down the side of yer chair some cars do one is for fuel cap the other is for boots on some cars if not and you only have the key if the key dont turn its knakered or sometimes if you feel under the edge where the it is at the bootom there might be a button there those are the only places l know good luck hope you find it.
