l assume the spanner means that l need a service but as l have only did 4000 miles in past four months(current total 27,000) and have mot in oct l dont wanna get serviced just yet.Is there anyway l can reset this to get rid of spanner or is ok to drive along with the warning light on for a couple of months?

garage straight away or it wont last a couple of months it requires attention thats what the warning lights are for

when you turn the key and the spanner comes up press down the trip button and hold till it changes thats next to your dials...ah think it resets to 13000 miles...............it only requires a service ..nothing serious ...its only when red lights come on that you should de worried

l have it on my 206 too, it is been there since l got it 6 months ago, yeah it means it needs a service going by the number of total miles done, l think only the dealers can cancel the spanner light, so it is a bit of a con for us to pay top dollar at the dealerships for a service.

l keep mine serviced myself & the spanner light will never interfere with the running of the car, it is just a reminder, but if u do find a way to cancel it yourself send us an email?

Yep good advice above, l pushed in the trip button & then turned the ignition on & it set to 20k & now the spanner light has gone, thanks!

Bought it in January. l am probably wrong but l felt the garage set the ''spanner'' light for a service after 6 months and not 12

My miles was even less than yours when l saw the spanner.
l drove with it for a couple weeks and it was okay, until one day while l was driving, my engine just shut down without apparent reason.

Davey babes is right. l have a Peugeot too - the spanner light comes on to remind u that your car is due a service - based on the mileage that u have done.
