is changing a servo on a 405 a diy job

and whats better, its a ten minute DIY job..

undo the brake connections, undo both bolts withdraw unit, refit, and re connect your brakes.. (they shoudlnt need bleeding)

and thats it.

Sorry, do u mean, by ''servo'' the power brake master cylinder on the vacuum brake booster?

If so, this is not a 10 minute job, & u must bleed the air from the brake lines. When u disconnect the brake lines, fluid leaks from the lines & the master cylinder. There is a half pint in the reservoir. Does fluid stay ''uphill'' just for you? Not me.

If u buy a new master cylinder, it will not come with the plastic reservoir tank. This will need to be pried from the old cylinder, emptied of course, & pressed into the rubber seals of the new cylinder. AIR!!!
