Ive Recently bought a Peugeot 306 S Reg (1999) it has the spot lights on the bumper but there not circular there more overall..and wondered what phase it was.. my fiance says its a phase 3 but l dont know and wondered if anyone else knew or could tell me where l could find this information?? Would be Great full.

more rounder/oval fog lights = ph2
round fog lights = ph3

Definitely Phase TWO. made between 1997 & 2002, the last year.

A Phase Three 306 is only one model, that was a 306 gti 6-speed gearbox model, made the last few years.
If u have 5 speeds in ur car, it is not a phase 3, sorry.
If u have a 5-door hatchback, it is not a gti-6 phase 3.

l do not think the fog lights have anything to do with it, although that may be just a coincidence.

If u r from Australia, these phases 1 & 2 were called N3 & N5, respectively.
