l think their is a few more different versions.. l do not really understand what they mean! They all look the same to me! I am about to buy one and would like to know what they mean. Thanks
So What does each one mean??

It dictates what extras it has that you might not see from outside like heated front screen, heated mirrors etc, nicer trimming, better radio etc

Peugeots in the past have loosely followed the rule of: G means 4 or 5 door, & X means 3 door hatchback. (with the exception of GTi & 205 GT)

206 GLX is a 3 door OR 5 door hatch back, & has a 1.4 or 1.6 liter petrol or a 2.0 liter diesel engine.

206 LX is a 3 door OR 5 door hatchback, but l only see petrol engines of 1.1 liter. This could be the BIG difference

X__ anything is a 3 door Peugeot 205 model.

If u can go for the glx. l have the lx version. Basically they r the extras that come with the car. There called the trim level.

and theres more. Basically there an indication of the extras the car has, new ones come out yearly. GT l for example with have the leather interior, electric mirrors/ windows etc, with the lx ive e/w, cd, cant think what else, cc bumpers, my advice would be not to get the l, look versions & personally l wouldnt want a rg version either.

In a nut shell the glx will have everything the lx will have but in addition will have
front fog lights
auto wipers
alarm
dead locking
cd auto changer
and depending on age the later glx also had alloys and auto lights.
