hil have a 206 off the road for a while been about a year its been off.l lowered the front using coilovers about 10months ago. l take the car up/down the drive sometimes or up the road to stop it ceasing up or anything.

only till yestersayday the steering clunks when you turn, worse when the engine is off with no powersteering. l have had a quick look but nothing looks out of place etc,

i will add tho, when l was fitting the lowering kit one of the driveshafts fell out and l lost some gearbox oil, still has some just low (will replace weekend) will it being low be the reason for the noise??

when the car moves or stands still it makes the noise.

i will be having the car in the air if the wearther is ok at the weekend but on me lunch break at work so thought l would ask.

i had to replace the droplink bars along with the lowering kit as the old ones were ceased to the old shocks, if they were loose would it make the clunking noise????

Check bottom ball joints buddy they are common,also check uj bolt on steering columb may of become loose or streched, also feel for play in steering rack, they will be more noisey with out the p.a.s
