Go to a automobile customization shop with the CD player and they will probably do it. It may be somewhat expensive so i'd call around first if l were you and do some pricing.

l have the same car. Mine is a 1981. l used to also have a 1979, too.
But ur dashboard is the ''new'' interior style. Redesigned in 1982 to be more like the Peugeot 205..and there is no problem with installing a CD player in a 205.

The space available for a cd player is indeed big enough. Infact, it can even be cut out to a bigger size if necessary.
Is ur radio / cassette player housed in a hollow box area that hangs beneath the dash.just in front of the gear lever? Good.
There is nothing u can bother inside that area.

The 12 volt positive wire, & the radio antenna wire should already be installed by the factory. YOU WILL HOWEVER, need the proper connector piece to join the new radio/CD & the 4 speakers in ur car. These can be pruchased at most carparts & audio shops. The proper one depends on the brand of CD player u buy. (the arrangement of pins & holes on the backside)
