Engine Immobiliser Fault on a Peugeot 206cc on an 03 reg

My car has been off the road for about a month now, l have tried to start it but the battery was flat so l have put jump leads on and now when l try and start it says Engine Immobiliser Fault. What now?

dont know exact model engine size etc based this on a 1.4hdi

may work try this key may need syncronization

switch ignition on.
press and hold the lock button. for 10 seconds
switch ignition off.
remove key from ignition.
wait 5 seconds
syncronization is complete
confirm syncronization by locking,double locking and unlocking

jumpleads are no good,,,disconnect battery and (if battery is not useless)re charge battery and re fit or get a new battery,when you disconnect battery and re connect(a charged)battery it will restore ALL factory settings and you should not have anymore trouble,

it may be a multiplexed car requiring the BS l unit to be reset.
