because l am buying one next month, and was wondering on insurance quotes? because l was going to buy a mini but my next door neighbour advised me that the peugeot 106 diesel is the better option and is insurance group 3(he deals with cars and repairs damaged salvaged ones, but could not remember a quote) so has any 17yr male has one? please help?
first off l am no BOY RACER, l HATE CHAVS!! and also no l am not poor, l work full time and evenings, l am only buying a 106 as there economical on full with 500+ miles too a tank and also how many boy racers do you know race a diesel???????
also if l could have my way l would drive and own a jaguar xjs 1979 v12 but insurance companies wo not touch me with a barge pole because off the boy racers.
it is because off boy racers think... l could be 21 and get a good quote for a v12 but because l am 17 and my age range tend to bne twa!s thats why l would not get a sniffing.. either way a diesel 106 is still a cool car left how it is no need to do anything to it.

let me guess your a boy racer right? or you have low money? Only boy racers or poor men buy them there cheap and can get loads of accories for it whenever you see a peugot 106 you can garantie that it has a loud exuast and there a 16-21 year old man in it

Handy couple of you've received!
Try running a quote through confused.com, or try Quinn Direct - a lot of young drivers on here say they're cheap. Get quotes for third party, fire & theft as well as comprehensive - there may be little difference. Also check the excess on any policy. This is the amount you'd have to pay in the event of any claim. A higher excess will mean cheaper premiums, but may mean that u have to pay an amount equal to the value of ur car following an accident.

reason the insurance would not touch the jag has nothing to go with boy racers, its down to the engine size.ITS A V 12!..
no one can give you a quote,to many variables, even down to your post code.and remember when getting a quote there are 2 engines in the 106 a 1.4 and a 1.5 di..they are an excellent car,Very economical and a nice looking car to boot.

As has already been mentioned, try somewhere like Confused.com. But be rest assured whatever you drive, at 17 your talking about an arm and a leg. Sorry

My suggestion is trying to collect as much information as you can before making up your mind, here http://CarInsuranceFree.info/free-car-insurance.htm is a good one.
