l have a 2000 Y reg Peugeot 206 1.4LX.

Can anyone tell me the correct engine oil to use?

the best you can put in is 15/40 or synthetic oil which is probably twice as dear as 15/40

you can look under the hood on the oil cap it might tell you what kind of oil to use or look in owners Manuel

Any synthetic 10W-40.
