hi l got a 306 1998 and l got a central locking problem which l think is the loom but l dont have time to fix this yet l have removed fuse number 14 and the central locking has gone manual which l wanted but then the sterio aint working either is there anyway l can make the central locking manual and still have the sterio working.


my problem with the central locking is that the drivers door locks and unlocks manually but when l go to lock the passenger side door then it locks and unlocks all the doors.

Your car stereo can be attached to fuses 1 or 2, and these are Always ON, without the key. Just do not leave your radio on overnight, ha ha.
There might be TWO wires in place under the dash for this option. NOW your radio is hooked up to one 12 volt source. there should be another one too.

according to this website.your radio should be attached to fuse 14. and the radio to fuse #1?

Your locking fault is most certainly caused by the common broken loom in one of the front doors. To fix carefully cut the rubber boot & check the condition of the larger wires ie Blue & red wires as these commonly brake causing ur described problem these also control electric mirrors. To repair broken wires u will have to remove the front door in order to get easy access & either solder in a new loom kit £50.00 from peugeot or solder in a new length of cable to repair the damaged wires & use shrink rap to insulate, tape up cut boot replace door job done.
