how can i change the ingnition barrel on my peugeot 206, plssssssssssss help me!!!!!!!!!!

put your key into the ignition, turn it to number one . around the barrel casing, there is a pin you push in and pull the ignition barrel out. you may need to take the plastic surround off the steering column

You do need to remove the plastic cover from below the steering column. A small phillips screwdriver is required. You will find the little ''pin'' underneath the ignition. The ''pin'' might be square.
You will definitely need the key to put the ignition in the first position! AND push the pin in while pulling the ignition barrel forward. Oh yes, disconnect the bundle of 6 ? wires. (It is 6 on a 306, l think the same on a 206?)
Without the key, u will have to cut the black metal of the ''case'' forward of the pin. This should only be 1/8 inch of metal.
You will have to lie upside down on the floormat to see this little pin.
