about 80 to 100 pound if you buy it yourself plus they are an exchange item so you will need to pay a surcharge of 50 pound until you return your old one. a garage will charge more but will deal with surcharge and exchange for you.

There r 2 driveshafts. A short one on the left side, & a much longer one on the right, with an ''intermediate bearing''.
Generally the one that makes noise is the one that spins faster going around a curve. The OUTSIDE of the circle.

If it constantly makes a low grinding noise, like a mini-cement mixer, this is probably the intermediate bearing of the longer shaft.

What is the exact reason u need a replacement, may l ask? The longer one, for my 205, was 160 euro last year. NOT a Peugeot brand, but an after market brand.
