its been noted that the drain plug is located above the right hand intermediate bearing of the drive shaft, but there are a couple of plugs there.

Meanwhile, look again. You r looking for a plug that can be removed. The other ''plugs'' r solid aluminium & will never come out, they r part of the block. l think the plug u want will be removeable with a 19mm spanner or socket?

8pm. Belgium. It was too dark earlier to get under the car & photograph. l will make it a point tomorrow to photograph a drain plug. l am assuming u have an XU9 engine, fuel injected, 1.9 liter. Because OLDER 205 gti did not have an intermediate bearing, & were 1360 cc.
