l have a phase 2 106 1.1 xn
i have no heatin/ blowers working
but rear screen is working
check fuses all working
was told wont be resistor
anyone any ideas

It could be as simple as a NEW THERMOSTAT is needed.

If ur thermostat is stuck in the open position, then ur engine water is circulated constantly. Engine water goes through the radiator, & again to the engine, round & round. It never gets held in the engine to become HOT!!
Never Hot enough to warm ur toes, or defrost ur windscreen.

If ur thermostat is stuck in the closed position, u learn this in about 20 minutes. Your car overheats & stalls & will not restart.

AHHH.. l read ur text & thought u meant '' l have no heatin, blowers working. ( Blower IS working,) but rear screen is working.
So, the next answerer thinks ur blower is NOT working. Yes, that is a good answer too.

Do not know exactly how the 106 heater is set up, but on a Saxo when the blower stops working (but the rear screen & power steering r working ok) then the fault is in the blower assy. itself. Either the motor will be burnt out or the resistor will be faulty- this is built into the unit. I'd check also that the connectors on the back of the switch & motor r secure, u can also check the power supply to the motor, there will be 4 wires- 1 earth & 3 live feeds, one for each speed, if all these r ok i'd definitely go for the motor itself. On a Saxo it is located behind the dash on the drivers side, l think it will be in the same place in a 106.
