Hi just wondering, have an r reg 1998 406 diesel, will a c.d. player from say a y reg fit in? l know it fits shapewise, but unsure about electrics? Thanks

yes all radios come with ISO connectors. If it has a steering wheel control, that might not fit the old one if they have changed the connector size

No the face lift 406 came in at T reg and they introduced MULTIPLEXING on that model in a big way .The unit will probably light up due to some connection being the same . Apart from the network connection your vehicle will not have and also your vehicle will not have the right Display .But the radio code on this model has to be entered onto the network using Diag 2000 and it is the chassis number that goes in or else all you will get is lots of beeps.
