l do not have a manual so do not know what this light refers to

sounds to me like its an engine diagnostic problem,i had one on my car,luckily my mates a technician,and he did the test for nothing,but look out at shelling out about £100.00 for the test if you dont know anyone.good luck.

sounds like the coolant level warning light please do not run it untill you have checked the coolant as you will end up having to buy either a head gasket or at the worst an engine
