Did the mechanic check & resurface ur disc rotor plates? You may have rough, worn or even slightly warped disc rotors & that could cause ur new pads to wear out more quickly. l would pull off the front wheels & look to see if there is any imperfection, checking to make sure the surface areas r smooth & the pads have no flaws. You could possibly have a pebble or something similar stuck between the pad & rotor.

This is just a thought.

Thanks!

The callipers may have begun to seize up, just had my Hyundai done (disks and pads) and the mechanic warned me that the callipers were about to go! Does it slow down without you touching the brake and/or use more petrol than usual?

you have not bed in the pads to the discs you have to drive for 300 to 400 mile and do not brake hard and drive at 30 mph and they should bed in l hope this info will help you
