It has started cutting out. It does not pitter out but just stop's. l can get it started again but after a while it just does the same. l do not know if it is drawing air or if it is something to do with engine management.l have never had any trouble with it before. Has anyone had similar or any Idea's?

It could be something in your fuel line or in the tank that blocks the pipe to your fuel pump, have you tried taking the fuel inlet pipe to your injection pump to see if you have any diesel getting through, when was he fuel filter changed last ???

It may be down to the engine being kaput ours sounded ill then cut out with no pattern

Sounds as if it could be the injector pump stop solenoid
It sometimes develops an intermittent fault before packing up altogether.
