What will happen if we feed petrol in diesil engine and diesle in petrol engine

Petrol in Diesel engine = Diesel pump Failure, the HP pump will seize up & cost u a small fortune not to mention the small amount of time when the engine will run while on the petrol diesel mix the top end will get some damage due to pre ignition., draining of the tank & new fuel filters etc etc..

Diesel in petrol, Not to much of an issue, engine start to smoke as diesel mix becomes stronger, runs for a little while if is started running on petrol & got to the diesel when it was hot the engine if a high compression engine may run on & smoke a lot.. a quick fuel flush no issue..

depends on the ratio of the mixture, if it is straight then , yeah, what astrospacerich said (kaboom!).
If it is only dilute mix of petrol in diesel, in a diesel engine, it will knock a bit , just dont rev it too high, should be ok.
Diesel in petrol - petrol enegine, if it is dilute it just be a bit smoky, which if u have a catayltic conveter could cause damage to it, straight diesel would probably just foul up the plugs, so even if the engine did run it would not be for long.

Depends on the amount. Petrol in a modern diesel is most fatal as the viscosity of petrol is thinner and will leak through the injectors onto the top of the piston so when the engine is started it will instantly bend the con rods. All l can say mate is do not do it trust me.

the clutch would go the engine will definitely explode and it would sometimes blow up like that show l saw on telly with an aeroplane.They filled it up with the wrong fuel and it caught fire over the atlantic and sunk with no survivors.So don´t try it.
