yep this is usualy caused by the head gasket, will be covered by warranty if you still have it.

it sounds as though it is, but at 4 years old it shouldnt.

oil in water/ water in oil is not only assigned to head gasket .. ask at your agrage .. some fool may have simply used the wrong filler hole ..

you dont gvce any other information as to the running of the vehicle

empty radiator ..

overheating ..for example

l am afraid head gaskets do not know that the been engine has just been serviced but yes it appears from the information you have given that your head gasket has gone, l know that its expensive but get it changed asap as running engine for any period of time could result in unrepairable damage. l would not be surprised if some muppet at the garage filled oil / water up in the wrong filler point, it can happen.

Get a compression test of the head done, if you're in the AA they will do this by the roadside, failing that take it to a garage.

A sign of HG failure is constant white vapour from the exhaust even when the engine is warmed up. Does ur coolant level drop? Do u fill it up regularly? As it is a sealed system, regular topping up is not necessary.
