i have a leak coming from drivers side door seal on my peugeot 206 cc can anyone help or any ideas why this i

l think they sell stuff at Halfords, if not you need a new seal.

l had that on my last car and it was from an accident, the door was dented then fixed at a body shop, then it always used to leak when it rained have you had your car from new?

check where the two ends meet is it at the bottom? rain will find its way to the bottom and collect there and finally enter via the join, simple remedy is to move the join further up around the door so water will then go past it to the furthest point but because there;s no way in at this point it will run away out under the door and down the sill, instead of into the car

It is because it is a 206cc! They have been plagued by water leaks as have the 307cc, Renault Megane Convertible,Ford Focus convertible..The list goes on. One Peugeot dealer near me had to send a mechanic on a course to learn how to deal with this problem. l am not ''bad mouthing'' your car but l am afraid it is a fact. Your local Peugeot dealer may be able to advise you on the best course of action.

on the base of the glass drivers side there is a rubber seal.. in time this seal deforms and rain leaks into the door. l recomment drilling a hole or several on the bottom. so the rain can leak out or you will have a problem with rust and the auto stores have a replacement for that rubber rain stopper ok
