l am afraid that a little Peugeot, hit from both ends, has so much sheetmetal damage, plus repainting, plus front-end radiator, headlamp (very expensive part)..that ur mechanic is correct. These little cars r safe for the occupants because they ''crumple up nicely'' to absorb the impact.
