l have a peugeot 206 and when l brought it it did not have a radio/cd player, when l look on ebay there are lots of different types(I am after the original factory fitted one, how do l now which one will fit mine without messaging every person?

Just buy one from the same age of 206 - the seller usually states what year car their item came out of.

The original cd player for a 206 is a Clarion make.Hope this helps

Peugeot 206 & 307 as well some Citroens share the same Clarion single CD player (RD3-01). Personally l do not like its sound & they r more expensive that better competitors like Pioneer, Alpine or Kenwood. Be prepare to pay around 45-80 Euros & without warranty.
If ur car does not have the radio/message center display this radio will be useless, since it does not come with a display as many other radios do. If u r still interested look for the model number PSARCD100-01 or PU-2471A be sure that ur car has the plug to connect the radio.
