when l open catches then press button for roof to open it beeps and does not move, and when l am driving above 5 miles it beeps continuously, please can anyone help ive only had the car a month and its put me off cos no one will look at it for me unless l pay about £70 AN HOUR, this could cost more than the car is worth, im totally stressed, please help.

It sounds like the roof mechanism may have decided it is jammed. You could try ringing up the local dealer & ask if u can reset the roof or how much it will cost to have ur car connected to the computer & have the fault codes read & reset.
Does it have a way of opening it manually? If so, try doing a full manual open & close to see if that fixes the problem.
Disconnecting the battery for a while might also erase its fault but u would need to have the radio code handy & it may also erase other stuff such as transmission learned behaviour etc.

Other possibility is that the motor has died from not being able to open the roof, however it seems logical that it is more likely that there is a fault code or reset button somewhere rather than just allowing the motor to burn out
